Whatsapp Account Banned??

WhatsApp bans a lot of users. If users are terminating whatsapp terms & conditions, Whatsapp is blocking Users from using Whatsapp. WhatsApp bans its users when it senses a slight violation of its terms and conditions. Also on occasions, if a user is using an unsupported version of WhatsApp instead of the official WhatsApp app, they will be temporarily banned from using the messaging app.

WhatsApp account banned, ar tech solution

WhatsApp is an extremely important service, it's a private service, offered for free, and its use is governed by terms of and conditions that users should agree to. So in case if it has banned your number, chances are very less that you can recover your whatsapp Account back. Except following certain steps, which I'm going to discuss over here and then hoping for the best. Or moving to a new phone number and using that for WhatsApp chats.

Why WhatsApp blocked your number?

Ar tech solution

There are several reasons why WhatsApp may have banned you. Let’s take a look at some of the potential reasons:

1) Using modified WhatsApp applications

2) Getting blocked by a large number of users

3) Sending a lot of messages to users who don’t have you as a contact

4) Sending harmful files, or viruses

5) Sending messages through bulk messaging or outside your contacts list

6) Hacking WhatsApp servers or disrupting WhatsApp services

7) Inappropriate conduct

8) Impersonating other users or creating fake accounts

9) Creating groups and add random people

10) Repeated Violations of WhatsApp terms and conditions

Measures to be taken if whatsapp banned you:

1. If banned, WhatsApp shows a notification to the user and prompts them to "Contact support for help".

The Contact Support section takes you to another page where you must describe your concern and attach screenshots of the error you are seeing. This can also be done for other problems you face with the app.

2. If your problem haven't been solved by above measure then go for writing a mail to whatsapp.

You can specifically mention in the mail "that my account could have been banned mistakenly and that as a user I did not take part in any activities that would violate WhatsApp's policies".

Even if there would be a slight chance that you have violated any terms & conditions, it is your right to know where did you go wrong. Whatsapp will reply you through mail that why you got blocked.

(If you get reply that, "We have a reason to believe that your account activity has violated our Terms of Service."

"A further enquiry into the matter revealed that the number had received "several complaints about the account" and in order to protect the privacy of other users WhatsApp was "not going to disclose the nature of the complaints.")

So, its clear that, WhatsApp can ban any account without warning and without detailed information of why the account has been banned.

3. Final Step you can take is raise the complaint to WhatsApp communications team in India and even shared my details along with screenshots sent by WhatsApp.

(If there has been no concrete solution that the company's team in India has offered to you then you cannot do anything further)

There are more than a billion of WhatsApp users out there and the company bans thousands of unscrupulous accounts every day. WhatsApp says that it has "advanced machine learning systems that take action to ban accounts, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

Since there is a team of analysts that's decide who gets to stay on WhatsApp and who doesn't, the fact remains that your account/number might also get banned by WhatsApp someday and you would not be able to know why. The entire process seems to be shrouded in secrecy.

It's always a safe practice to avoid sending bulk messages to contacts on your list, stop forwarding unknown or fake messages, stop sending messages to the person not in your contact list, don't open fake account and irrate any user by messaging him/her constantly, don't spam in the group, don't add much users in the group at random, and lastly do not violate the WhatsApp's Terms & Conditions and even lock your account using two-factor authentication so that you are not a victim of WhatsApp identity theft.

Also a Reminder to accept Whatsapp Privacy terms & services before 15 May 2021 to stay on Whatsapp.

Thank You
