Netflix Announced New Feature to automically download your favourite movies or shows for free | Watch it without Internet Connection. 

Netflix announced New Feature to automically download your Movies/TV Shows for free. So that you can watch it without internet connection. It's totally based on your tastes & preferences. You just have to select your preference and allot storage space such as 1GB, 3GB, 5GB as per your choice or mobile storage. That's it, now Netflix will automatically download movies/shows as per your preference.

It's new feature “Downloads for You” is for both Android as well as iOS applications. The company says that this feature will automatically download recommended TV shows or movies to your device “based on your tastes,” and it’s completely opt-in.

The feature is rolling out today on Android and will be coming on iOS soon.

It's simple to do

1. To get started, simply launch the Netflix Android app.

2. Then, tap on the Downloads tab.

3. There, hit the toggle next to "Downloads for You."

4. On the next screen, decide how much storage space you want to dedicate for Downloads for You such as 1GB, 3GB, 5GB based on your choice and mobile storage space.

Netflix says 3GB is enough for 12 movies and TV shows.

Once you've made up your mind, tap Turn On.

If you change your mind, you can always deactivate the "Downloads for You" toggle in the Netflix app itself. Or if you run into storage troubles, you can decrease the amount it takes up from Downloads or else decrease the storage space alloted by you. Alternatively, if you want more surprises, just increase the storage space allotted to "Downloads for You". The storage space you reserve for automatic downloads will not be used by manual downloads you initiate in the Netflix app.

The company touts this feature as an expansion of its Smart Downloads feature, which it introduced three years ago as a way to automatically download the next episode of a TV show you’re watching. “Downloads for You” takes this to the next level.

The announcement post explains:

Today we’re launching Downloads For You, a new feature that automatically downloads recommended shows or movies to your mobile device based on your tastes. Whether you're a comedy buck, or are a person with full of love or romance, it's all available next to you. You're getting bored or want your free time to be entertaining, we do the work so there is always something new waiting to entertain and delight you.

There’s no timetable on when this feature will roll out to all iPhone and iPad users, but it is available globally on Android. It's an Amazing Feature Right?

So go get into it and explore your favourite movies or TV Shows. Change the settings to automically get downloads of your choices. Watch it for free without internet connection.
